Are the rear sights on the M&P and the SD9VE interchangeable?

The reason I ask is that this company is selling a microdot mounting plate they claim will work with both platforms.

Well the part number from Novak is the same for the M&P and SDVE.

I also saw a listing on Midway for the M&P rear sight with comments from people saying it fit their SD (replaced the plastic sight for steel).
