Did you also change the extractor depressor plunger/installed it correctly? Check the angle of your ejector, of maybe just replace it too as mentioned.

I forgot about this. After 3000 rounds, the extractor depressor plunger spring gets fatigued.

Several years ago, I inserted the extractor depressor plunger in an opposite orientation and experienced constant brass to the face and head. Took it home, dissembled the Glock and discovered the problem. I reversed it and the ejection improved immensely.

There's also 2 plungers to try, Lci and non lci.
One variable at a time you'll find it.

My wife has a G19 Gen 3 and had this same issue. It was strange that it progressively showed up and got worse. I first thought it was her or her grip/limp wristing. So I was ready to to replace everything especially the ejector as i had read was the culprit. Then we bought a bunch of bulk 124 grain 9mm from the gun show and poof......problem solved. The 124 grain vs. The 115 grain we had been shooting made a big difference.I dont know if it was an combo of things but that's what fixed her brass to the face problem. Hope you get it fixed!

LOL - I have a 1911 variation - Carried it for 8 years.
A Glock 23 40SW holds 13 Flush and 17 with a 22 mag with extension. I have 24 round mags for my PPC. The 40SW hits out to 200 yards w/ 26" of drop & 355 LBS of energy 165Gr. Oh and it is lighter than a 1911 too. One of the few examples where bigger isn't always better.

Lucky .. At least all your brass are near by . I have to chase for mine , then again its 10mm

I think my 9mm with weak plinking loads did that . as soon as I loaded up with factory , went away

I ordered a new extractor spring and Trigger housing w/ ejector.

I have 30,000++ rounds though other 23s and haven't had a problem with brass dinging my head / face. I'll post when the new parts are installed and tested.

Well - -
Replaced the extractor spring - stock and trigger housing with ejector #1882. The original one is the same.
Brass hits me in the forehead.

Replaced the entire trigger group to stock
Brass hits me in the face. WTF is going on.

Now I'm getting pissed Model 23 100% stock now.
Ran out of ammo. Bought some from the range cheap low powder soft reloads.
Fired 5 rounds no brass in face WTF.

Put back in the after-market trigger group.
Fired 20 rounds
No Brass in face.

I had only brought my reloads with me this time which are very hot. I usually use them in my PPC but before I tried factory loads, various kinds and my reloads and had brass in the face.

So - I bought a 20LBs recoil spring and tried it out today. NO FRIGIN BRASS IN MY FACE. Yah baby only a 150 rounds though 165 & 180 gr. my reloads and factory ammo.

I have no idea how may Glocks I have fired and owned over the years and never had this problem. My other 23s - No problem firing or ejecting just about anything - Only this 23 requires a 20LBs spring.
I'll post again after a few thousand rounds. This will take a while. My time has been very limited lately. Hope this bit of info is helpful to someone down the road.

If anyone as any additional info to share - I'm all ears.
