    Sig Sauer P220

Just want to state that this is a fantastic pistol. I recently purchased a Sig P220 SAS used from a Calguns member and it is a wonderful shooter. So far (only ~ 1,000 rounds), it has been flawless in operation, feels great in the hand, and seems to be as accurate as my Dan Wesson Commander Classic 1911. Really impressed.

Great to hear you had a blast! And that the P220 fit your hand.

Sig P-series are pretty impressive, especially if you're used to other DA/SA all-metal pistols. Older stamped slide P-series are even better balanced than the current milled SS models.

I used to be obsessed with Sigs.

My very first gun is P220 Combat German made, with Rosewood grips from factory. She is keeper.

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The P-series pistols are of no use to me since they are not left hand friendly. However, I have a Tac-OPS 1911 and M17 that are really great shooters.

OMG you are wrong!!! I run the decocker and mag with my trigger finger. It was made for left handed shooters!

I gotta say, the P220 really didn't do anything for me. Don't care for the position of the controls compared to other pistols. Reliable, but I'll take 2 Glocks for the same cost.

Mag releases are reversible contrary to the lack of public knowledge since it's not heavily advertised.

Wait until you have a chance to handle and shoot a P228..the perfect carry gun.

i'm guessing you have more than one p225? my wife and i were able to handle one when we met a fellow calgunner at the range who was kind enough to allow us to shoot it, and we both like it a lot. once we're out of this commie state, we'll get some more.

Yes... I had a SiG fetish a few years ago....I have two P225's and a P6 with a P225 barrel / mainspring. I have four of the P228's that I can not recommend highly enough.

My P228 has been one of my primary carry guns for 15 years now. While the P225 does carry a bit smaller.. the 13+1 capacity and balance of the P228 make it the hands down winner of the two. Amazingly enough the std full size P220 is slim enough and light enough that it carries well for a full size DA/SA .45

I shot a P220 in IDPA for 2 years not one problem. One of a very short list I would bet my life on.
