Nightstand gun

So I've been switching out my nightstand gun every few months because I can't seem to make up my mind on which would be best in a home self-defense situation. I shoot equally well with all of them, which makes it harder for me to choose. I know I'm over-thinking it but I want to stick with one and I'm curious as to what everyone thinks would be the best all-around (self-defense loads in all of them).

CZ Rami 9mm (w/ cz75 compact mag & adapter for full grip)
Gucci'd-out Glock 19 w/ night sights
Springfield 1911 loaded w/ night sights
Ruger SP101 357 Mag

If I were getting a pistol for home defense, especially for a nightstand, it would be a revolver. Of course there is no safety but takes some directed effort to fire. Ultimate reliability. It is not fast but who are you expecting, the 181st Airborne?

I would buy a new non-Gucci'ed Glock 19 and use that instead, with a light attached. Of your non-bacon choices, I might got for the SP101, with speedloader on hand.

My first choice is a Louis Vuitton Glock 19. Since that wasn't an option, I had to vote for the inferior Gucci.

For those voting for the revolver, wouldn't the muzzle flash from a 357 be a (slight) concern in a low-light home defense situation? At least that's been my thought in the past. My SP101 is the 2.25" barrel hammerless model.

I’ve for years advocated for a revolver for home defense. I still think it’s a good choice. What I see happen though is folks don’t take those revolvers out enough and practice with them. Unless you’re a complete revolver lover you probably shoot your semi autos most often when you do go to the range. Semi autos just are more fun. So now I tell folks use for home defense what you shoot most often because being comfortable and confident with that weapon is paramount.

Honestly if you're a good shot with any of them what does it matter? Where is the 12ga 18" with 6 rounds of 00 Buck and one slug? Honestly, why is that not in the options? If you're only using a handgun to get to your rifle as the book always states, what difference does it make?

Use ammo that is sold as defense ammo. It usually has a flash suppressant in the powder.
