Maybe..maybe not... He might have gotten a few 'I'll take its', but I don't think his mail box is blowing up... There's not that many Ruger collectors that are willing to cough up big bucks for something that's not that rare, and the shooter doesn't really give a hoot whether it's an old or new style..just as long as it's fun and works.... It'll be interesting to see if it finally does get sold, and what it finally sells for..??WITHOUT THE 2nd THERE WON'T BE A 1st...]Comment

Just guessing because old model is more desirable to many and is what drives its price up. If you don't care about the difference between the two, you buy a new model and not pay more for an old model. Old models are more rare than the new model for sure.Maybe..maybe not... I sent him an offer. 350. That’s usually what I’ve seen even nice ones like this go for. I’ve been looking for a long time. I had one that was stolen from me around 93 ish it was the first gun I ever got to shoot when I was a kid. I’ll find one eventually. I agree though that box could possibly add some value for the right person if they were buying it for that. I wouldn’t be it would be a shooter for me. I’ve missed out on 4 different ones here on Cal Guns simply due to timing. The last one was a mag cylinder only gun advertised at 275. I should have just drove to Berkeley on got it lol. My BIL lives there I could have used it as an excuse to say hi and have lunch.
Heck if anyone has one for sale in Sac area I’m your guy ......Last edited by Bullets&Whitewalls; 03-09-2019, 8:47 AM.Comment

Congrats get up to the hills and enjoy shooting it.
Ive had well over 100 handguns one time i took about 20 of them to Eagle Lake/Susanville when I went Camping.. HK, Sig Glock , and a few 1911's I shot them on the first day and spent the last 3 days with my old ruger 22/22mag plinking like I was 11 again. The other guns to me were boring. Not my old 22 ruger..
Ya wonder why all the guys above are trying to get that little Ruger out of your hands?? They know how great they are... That gun was saved for decades just for you to own...
Look... Keep this little Ruger it didn't cost you anything you might find it will grow on you.. change your outlook and give it a try.
Best.
I have a few old handguns and wheels guns that I inherited, and really never gave them much attention over my polymer-framed toys.
One is a Ruger Single-Six, serial # 329xxx
I cant seem to find any real info on this date.
it is marked .22 mag rf.
I am looking to part with my Single Six to explore new handgun adventures. Any help with dating or value will be greatly appreciated.
I will attach an Imgur link here: https://imgur.com/a/upjfql9
