    My First 1911

I purchased my first 1911 ten days ago from a fellow Calguns member and broke it out of jail this evening. I will definitely make a trip to the range tomorrow to try it out. First though, I need to watch a few YouTube videos to make sure I can take it apart without marring the finish.

It is more than I have ever spent on a gun but...it was not as bad as you would think.

You'll love it. Those Magpul grips are my absolute favorite 1911 grips, hands down. They have a slim profile but that angle in the middle really helps keep it steady, and the thumb cutout is glorious.
