    Magazine base pad options

    Hey all,

I'm really struggling to find base pads for my 10 round CZ mags. I have both the 10 round stock CZ mags and the 10 round Mecgar mags.

I an conning to the conclusion that base pads for restricted capacity are not available. I'm looking to add some weight to the bottom of the mag to aid in quicker reloads.

Picture of the two types of mags I have below for reference.

The Mecgar ones should use a standard base plate.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Add weight I don't think that anyone has heavier ones. CZ factory store has some different types, CZ Custom, Cajun Gun Works or Springer Precision. Which Gun?

Check out Henning base pads. I've never used them but I've heard good things.

Throw out those garbage nanny state mags. As you have discovered, parts are hard to get including factory spares to say nothing of aftermarket.

Buy real Cz mags, have them sent to Audiophil to be blocked then he sends them to you.

Nothing looks sadder in SP-01 than those neutered P75 mags. SP-01 should look like this

I'm new to the CZ world and didn't know there were so many options. Definitely sounds like factory ones are best. For the Mac-gar I was surprised how much cheaper they are. Is it like Pro mag, just junk?

So from what I can gather:

1). CZ factory Mags. Blocked is best (although priciest)
2). Mec-Gar mags can use CZ custom's baseplates
3). CZ parts can be tough to get

                        Is this correct?

CZ 75 10 Round Aluminum Base Pad Black for use with CZ 10rnd mag #11102 ONLY, will NOT fit any other magazines. NO RETURNS on this part

Not sure if these add much weight, however.

I have 3 Mec-Gars for my 75B and they run just fine. You can get the 10 rounders from Greg Cote LLC with a Springer Precision aluminum pad installed.

Still deciding if I want metal pads for my factory mags
