hmmm I have two 7 rnd mags that came with my two original model shields. They may have been used once or twice. They're just sittin in the drawer. Willing to sell at $20 each. Bay area meet up would be the best as I am in SF.

Not hard to get but $25+/8 rounder. They go on sale sometimes for $9-$13/8 rounder.
I should have bought more last sale. I can use about 6 more to save a lot of time on range days.

              maybe?

in the beginning it was due to the huge popularity of the shield. especially in CA since it was one of the last newest compact pistols put onto the roster.

supply has caught up to demand now, but since there is only OEM, it is somewhat expensive when not on sale.

i bought like 10 during turner's sale 2 years ago so i'm pretty much set. my only concern is now having to buy 5 mag extensions to put them to 10 rounds. and those mag extensions are not cheap.... can buy a whole new mag at their pricing (hyve or mag-guts)

MagGuts suck. For the range, well I guess. But to trust your life with “imposter parts” added to a perfectly good magazine...... not me. There’s some things in life where enough is just enough and “more” can mean the difference between reliable and unreliable during a critical time of need.

Carry a spare (and RELIABLE) factory mag with OEM inwards if you want “more.”

This companies extensions have worked very well for me. The mag release extension I had to tweak one of my holsters but all high end parts.

I got mine off of ebay. Can not remember the price but was well under list price and they were factory M&P mags new in package. I remember seeing lots of them for sale by different sellers at the time.

                      TLC,

I just got mine from Turner's Outdoorsman. Expensive but magazines are usually the expensive part of the gun.
