It's late and I'm too tired to research but I think you can't bring hi-cap mags into CA. I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I also know it is a little off topic but just an FYI (if I am right that is).

By the way, I want to wish you a premature "welcome back!"

Bring in a magazine that takes more than 10 rounds is illegal.

I was refering to the magazine buying frenzie deal that went on just before the magazine ban in CA.

I welcome it. How else would I learn.

Dang, all this talk of Keltecs. I just sold one of mine (P11) for $175 and I had a hard time finding a buyer.

I'm in a similar situation, as my visa into free america will likely expire in about 2 more years. I'd say get the unusual stuff. I bought a Taurus 905B and STI LS9. I'll be maxing out the credit cards to buy other STI stuff before coming back.

I noticed people are posting what they are willing to "buy" but not what they are willing to pay.
I am sure most people who put there want list together - will not pay you what you want, or need to cover your cost.

I would add: S&W revolvers, Colt DA revolvers, a few Korth and Manurhin revolvers (to my knowledge, there is no single Korth revolver in CA, but at $6K it might be hard to obtain one, and it might be very difficult to sell one), H&K Mark23 with non-threaded barrel installed, and Sig P210s.

In the department of 1911s, everybody keeps talking about Caspian frames. And I forget what the situation with Rock River 1911s is - check into it.

Wrong - I know 3 people in Ca with Korth's, includeing myself. One of the Korth owners posted his pic on a 1911 site.

I have bought 2 Caspian customs in Ca- and paid way less then what with would cost me if I would have bought it out of state. Both custom 1911 where built by 2 well known gunsmiths. Where did all the people in CA go, who wanted Caspian 1911s? A lot of people are not willing to put there money where there mouth is.
You better off to buy what you want. And later if you want to sell the pistol, sell it and not think you are going to profit off it.
