I'm a big fan of replacing the sight, trigger, hammer. Pro package in-house is expensive, but you could try doing it piecemeal on your own, as many of the parts can be installed without the others.

I'm 200 rounds into my brand spankin' new SP-01 but like the advice of waiting until I get to the 1,000-1,500 mark before I contemplate any changes. I will certainly be taking it apart for a polish job though. I've done that with all my firearms except for my 1911.

No need for it where I live (3rd floor apartment, verrry safe area). The single point of entry is my front door, which has a deadbolt lock.

Not necessarily trying to speak for the OP here, but consider this. If he did mention this as a HD gun, many would say not to modify it for fear of legal ramifications, etc.

So maybe his point it to eliminate that retort and just get recommendations on modifications for those not worried about a gun fitting the HD/SD role.

The single best mod I did to mine was replace the hammer with one from CGW. It removed the extra creep after you hit the wall on your trigger pull, where the hammer continues to move back. I considered selling it before doing that and now it's my favorite gun to shoot.

Can't speak for the OP, but I don't use my SP-01 for HD. I'm not too comfortable using a gun with such a light SA trigger pull (after CGW mods) as my primary HD gun, I have other guns better suited for that task which offer a DA first pull. With that being said, if this were my only gun I would not hesitate to use it for HD, I would just mod it accordingly.

Get the CGW pro package and install it yourself.

And get your slide milled for a red dot!

Another recommendation for the Kadet (and putting lots of rounds through it).

This. Seems to me like CZs smooth out more than the average gun after about 1K rounds. YMMV

QUESTION. If i purchase the flat SAO trigger (35$) will that alone make my Sp01 SA, plug and play?

No, there's stuff you have to do with the hammer assembly too. Here's some CZ-SP01 SA conversion videos on the topic:
