Don't forget you can get a 357 sig barrel or 40 sw for it. If it's in one or the other caliber. Won't work on a 9mm version.

I was hoping to lighten the trigger pull, extend mag release, and then change out the sights for fiber optic. Haven't researched enough into what kinds are good/bad, but is there a sight that you guys would recommend for HD?

I like trijicon HDs. True glos are pretty popular on here as a sight that does both. I might try them on my HK p30 next. I like fiber optic for my range race guns and the trijicon on my Home defense guns but slowly leaning to the fibers over all

You can buy a couple different trigger return springs and firing pin block springs that will affect your trigger pull. The big magazine release paddle is great. The original on the P2000 is fine, but the big one is much easier to manipulate for me when under stress. I prefer the sights that come on the gun. On my HK45C, which has similar sights, I installed Truglo TFX Pros. They were fine, but I can pick up the originals more quickly under almost all light conditions. I switched them back, and now have a set of expensive used sights sitting on my desk. Sorry these HK45 sights won't fit on your P2000. As a couple of the others have suggested, I STRONGLY recommend shooting an LEM.
