They have a lifetime warranty. If you have any problems you can send it in. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

You could very well spend 200 dollars more and get a 1911 with problems.

I own a ria gi 1911, its great.

If you're roster exempt get the Rock.

If you're not roster exempt then the state of California has made the choice for you.

        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Both are reliable guns. Are there chances that you get a bad one out of the box? Yes. But people have bought 2K and 3K guns that had problems and same goes for Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
Oh, forget about mim stories. There are more mim parts in the car you drive in on the crazy freeways and the airplanes you fly in with no health hazards or malfunctions.

Both RIA and SA have great customer service and warranties. So, just in a very very remote chance that you get a lemon out of the box (same as a new car or less), they will fix it for you.

If you are going to war and this is to be your back up gun, shoot 2 or 300 rounds with it before deployment. If it worked, clean and lube it, and it will go bang again when you need it to.

Oh, and in before the glock boys chime in and suggest a g19.

I’ve got a RIA tactical 45 and 9mm. Both run like crack whores. I would buy another RIA in a heartbeat.

Spend the extra and get an American made 1911. RIA are fine but you will just end up wanting something better so bite the bullet and get the Springer.

the USMC uses Springfield Armory for their MEUSOC M1911, it must be a decent quality firearm if the Marines uses SA or uppers to build them.

I highly doubt the USMC would use a lower end RIA mfg in the Philippines

Both RIA and Springfield have MIM parts

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.
