    Hk USP 45

I just picked up this USP 45 today. I didn't have a bunch of time as I had a few other things to do, but I did manage to run a hundred rounds through it right after I filled out the paperwork. There is a very small amount of wear on the right side of the slide, really more of a small area the is slightly shinier than the rest of finish.

Holy Mackerel these things are nice! The double action pull is a somewhat long and heavy, but the single action is pretty nice with just a little take up before breaking. I admit that just a couple of boxes of ammo isn't a whole lot to judge a gun by, but I believe this one is going to be a winner. I know that so far I like it much better than the Glock 21 I shot a couple of years ago. It seems to fit my hand better and because of that, I shoot it more accurately. I literally shot the center out of the X ring at 15 yards.

For $399, I think I got a decent deal although it only came with one magazine.

Nice score, especially for $400. Love my USP’s, chew through anything I feed them and very accurate. My only gripes are spendy mags and the DA pull.

Now you need a USPc in 45 to go with that fella. Maybe add an HK45 for good measure...

I am kinda used to expensive magazines...I just bought a couple of CZ75 pre-'B' mags from CZ for $50 each with shipping.

Just looked on Gonebroker and a seller is listing genuine HK 12 rounders for $40 each. I sent them an email to verify that they are genuine HK factory magazines, if they are, I think I am going to get a couple.

That was a pretty good snag. Now that I no longer live in Kalifornia, I was planning on getting the USP 45 tacticool version to host a suppressor, I need to get the can first since its a 9 month wait for the stamp.

Oooooh, that's a sweet deal. If you're not keen on the DA pull, remember that the U in USP is "Universal." It can be set up with about nine different trigger configurations. HK's LEM trigger is the greatest invention since rifled barrels and sliced bread. Convert it over. You'll like it.

^^^Agreed. Have the “light” LEM in a P30 and LEM in a P2000. Been thinking of adding it to one of my USP guns as well. Thanks for the reminder.

I love USP45s. I had a fullsize police trade in and now I have a compact. They are great guns, built like tanks.

I actually find the grip to be very slim for a doublestack 45. I dont understand the whiners that complain about the grip being "yuge". But people will literally complain and nitpick about anything and everything when it comes to firearms.

Congratulations OP, you have one of the most reliable .45 cal pistols ever designed.

Nice score OP. Have always enjoyed HKs and I love USPs. The Barbie doll of pistols in my opinion.
