As long as one of them (or both) is a PPT you're gtg. PPT does not go towards 1 in 30. You're all good, big spender.

The only thing limiting the number of PPTs a California resident can conduct is the person's budget.
The one in 30 days restriction only applies to new firearms bought from a store.

1 in 30 also doesn't apply if you have a C&R and COE

If you’re in the city of Los Angeles it’s also no go.

A minor point regarding "new" or "used" shorthand. Although that's generally the way it works a "used" handgun that's either on roster or roster exempt can be in an FFL's inventory and subject to the "1 in 30" restriction. Most FFLs will ask "have you bought in 30 days?" but not always. IIRC by CA law the sales tags for dealer stock and consignment must be distinguishably different - perhaps someone who works in a gun store can confirm or correct?

The 1 in 30 is only for "new" pistols.

You're told wrong. It's only an issue if you DO in the CITY of LA regardless of where you live.

                            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
