    Help

I am searching for a reliable easy to use in an indoor outdoor protecton quick reaction. I prefer a 5 in barrel semi auto. Living in caifornia I have certain limitations to what I can and cant have on a firearm ie size magazing wih no more than 10 bulles. with limited budget going back and forth with xdm 45 and glock 21sf. I want to keep the price under $600. If not the two mentioned above please give your feedback. thank you so much

Your limited to the Glock out of those two. XDM is not on the roster.

      Rock Island 1911 ~ $500
Rock Island MAPP 1 (Tanfoglio Clone) ~ $450
      S&W SD9VE ~ $400

This is based on pricing I saw at a LGS when I went to put something on Consignment

There are no versions of the Springfield Armory XDM-45 listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale.

There are several variants of the Springfield Armory XD-45 listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale.
^They tend to go on sale from time to time in the $450-500 range.

Glock 19 or 17 should be considered.

Make sure you understand the laws and liabilities of protecting yourself and family vs. possessions.

You will have at least 10 days to spend here before you get to use your new gun.

If you have not shot these before, I recommend you go to a range (with a friend typically required) and try several different guns.

I really like my Springfield XD-45 Tactical. It's the one with the 5" barrel. I just added night sights, a rubber Talon grip and a Power River guide rod and it is my bedside pistol.

Nice gun, but not hard to find in his budget.

Recently shot my friends XD-45 tactical (5” inch barrel). I was really happy with how it performed. As mentioned above, Springfield is having a gear up promotion currently, so with a purchase of one of their firearms, you’ll be able to acquire some additional magazines. Three more IIRC. I was quoted at $586 out the door from my LGS.

If you buy on the local store then you don't have to worry about the Roster.

Sportsmans Warehouse has a Mil-Spec 1911 Springfield Armory for $549 until Sunday - great deal.
