The frontvstrap serrations? A piece of masking tape will fix that.

Remember to dial 1 before 911.

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

    There. Are. Four. Lights!

Is it pinching skin on your fingers because of the way you're grabbing onto it? If so just change the way you wrap your fingers around it so it doesn't pinch. Smoother grip your fingers can slip into place, with checkering they can't so it pinches up skin in the bend of your fingers and will make calluses eventually.

I am 100% sure the OP is talking about the front and rear strap checkering being too sharp and not the grips. This is why I avoided the TRP hype and never bought one. There are other nicer 1911's out there that feels much nicer and shoot more accurately. I highly recommend that you sell it and get a Les Baer.

Going to the gym and building callouses on your hand has to be the stupidest answer on CalGun.

That's what I was thinking too, gym build calluses in the wrong spot. Calluses you build from front checkering is from pinched skin. I think they're there mostly for wearing gloves, that why it is called operator, operators wear gloves, at least all the pics I've seen of them they are.

When using barehanded either two things grab on to it so it doesn't pinch skin on fingers or grab it how ever and build calluses.
