    GLOCK 19 KILLER!!

If you’ve been on Gunstagram this morning, there’s a good chance that you’ve seen the newest model of handgun from the Slovenian military manufacturer, Arex – the Arex Delta.

The Delta is a polymer-framed, striker-fired pistol (yes, like a Glock) that has capacity, specs, and dimensions very close to the Glock 19. This is a smart move by Arex, as the Glock 19 has a profile with a broad appeal and is one of the most popular handguns of all time. While it took manufacturers like Ruger (Security-9) and S&W (M&P Compact 2.0) years to introduce a mid-size model to compete directly with the 19, Arex is getting down to business immediately

The G19 has been a dictator in its class for TWO LONG!!!! S&W, CZ, Ruger, others and now...... AREX!!!!

This gun will finally dethrone the 19!!!

Alrighty then, but I thought the P10c was the 19 killer. This must be the 19 annihilator.

Somehow I don’t think Glock is too worried.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

Glock is a company with proven track record IN service. Arex who? But competition is a good thing for the end user...better products and services as a result.

It will take a lot to dethrone the almighty Glock.lol

Personally find it pretty ugly, but whatever. The real dealbreaker is that awful-looking trigger. Not curved, not flat faced, but instead it has an angle in the center? Who on earth ever asked for that?

I think I heard the same thing about pythons and Smith's 586 back in the early '80's.

They stopped making them in 2005. Must have been a long slow death that lasted close to 25 years.

                          Second that.

Polymer guns, in general, look like they walked thru the ugly Forrest and were hit by every branch. This one is no exception.
In a free state, you can get a Canik at the same price range. And, they look better IMHO.

Plus, the kryptonite cuts on the slide serrations makes it Delta Forcy! enough. Why go totally Chuck Norris with the front cuts on that slide??

Arex MSRP $450. G19 Gen 5 MSRP $699 and up. It will be an attractive alternative to a Glock.
