I finally DROSed it yesterday.
I was amazed at how tight it is. Had to slam the back of it just to rack it. I can see why it requires 500+ rounds to break it in.

Pick it up on December 10th and then start the break in process after that.

Thanks, that helps a lot. Called them up and they say 3 to 6 months for delivery. I just need to find an FFL to place the order I guess.

I have 2 Baers for you to shoot so you can see what the hype is. Just bring your best 1911 out and compare. You can also check out my CZ 97B-E SAO Copperhead. That's one of my most accurate shooters.

Have you tried calling Reeds in Santa Clara? Where specifically are you located? Perhaps someone can help with more specific info.

I think there's also another one in Milpitas that's pretty friendly to us Calgunners. Don't know the name off the top of my head. Not sure why there would be a problem with LB thru one of the other shops. Is it because its going to be 'custom' beyond the CA approved roster?
