    .

our neighbor to the right (last lane at the range) came up to me and said "the bigger gun you just started using is chucking empty shells into my space" I watched it happen and it was true, but what could I do? He insisted "you need to tighten your grip" lol Since it wasn't the only gun I had, I chose to move on to another.

Welcome to the shooting range snowflake. Yeah, it sucks when the guy next to you is shooting a hand cannon but, HELLLLLLO, you're at the SHOOTING RANGE! People come here to shoot and sometimes they shoot really big guns. Deal with it.

Yeah. Over the course of a few years shooting, you’ll meet all the different range personalities. From the tactical mall ninja dressed like he’s about to invade Afghanistan to the range snowflake who complains about everything to the Range Expert who thinks he knows everything about everything to the guy who wants to put a few rounds through your gun to everything else in between.

Welcome to a public shooting range.

Keep your eyes on the newbs. They’re often the ones who don’t know enough to keep their weapon pointed downrange ALL the time. Even when it has an “empty clip”.
22lr - how do they cram so much fun in such an itty-bitty bullet?

Sounds like the guy was triggered by your choice of guns.

Should have just told him "lighten up Francis!".

Seriously, this is not uncommon. It's never happened to me, but I have seen it from time to time. Plus a lot of other stupid stuff that people do. Wish I had a private range!
              Sorry, not sorry.

That guy wanted to shoot your DEagle, because he seen it in the movies. In the movies they don’t show fired cases being ejected that far. They simply fall to the ground, with the famous star crimp nose.

What I hate smelling at the range is the scent of Marijuana. Some folks still don’t know what that skunky or that aromatic smell of prime weed. People aren’t allowed into the range when they are wreaking the smell of booze, so why let anyone in even if they claim its medical weed?

My buddy has a 7in AR pistol with a cheap ebay muzzle brake on it. Man, forget people coming up to talk to you. They just pack up and leave. I swear the concussion will push them back.

I'd like to tell you about shooting in Oroville, Open range.

Needless to say it's insane, good chance you might get shot...or tell someone their music is too loud, or they shouldn't drink alcohol while shooting. They have guns.

I never go on the weekend.

One time, bangers drove up in a car (didn't get out), unloaded from the window, then drove off. Oh, well.

You might want to suggest the guy give up guns and go into the library sciences....
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.

Whenever I am shooting an extra loud gun, I let everyone in close proximity know before I shoot. I’ve never had any problem with people complaining about the noise. In fact, I’ve had a lot of people strike up conversations because they’re curious about what I was shooting.

As far as the brass is concerned, I’ve never had anyone complain about that either. I’ve been on the receiving end of people’s brass, and I just chalk it up as part of the experience. if you are at a range with partitions, you could try to move around a bit within your bay, to try to get the brass to hit the partition rather than go over/around it.
