Found this Bill Davis custom PPC gun made on a post 82 Smith & Wesson 65. Has the full Aristocrat sight and a trigger stop that allows for near zero overtravel. I opened it up for cleaning and the three things that stood out are how well polished the top of the trigger is, the "pad" that lifts the DA sear. The DA sear is a bit rounded on the bottom and probably accounts for the very even pull. Instead of being attached to the trigger by the usual two pins and flexing front and back during the pull, there's a stud on the trigger and the hand pivots on that, similar to how the hand is on a SA revolver.
The Aristocrat sight rib has a 3 position adjustable front sight.
I don't care for the grips, they're too small, but note how much they fill in the gap between trigger guard and grip frame.
I'm looking for an extended cylinder thumb-latch, not the Hogue version though. Can't recall the brand name, it's shorter and the serrated edge is vertical, about a 90 degree angle. Anyone know the name?
