Help Please: RMR not fitting Glock Slide

I have a PWS EDS slide with RMR cut which was recently purchased new from a fellow member here. My Trijicon RM06 arrived today but upon trying to install, the posts on the slide are off a very tiny bit.

The only way I can show this is by using the mounting plate as a reference as shown below.

The posts won't go in flat but if slanted, one will go thru with no problem.

The only solution I can think of is have someone grind of the posts a bit to make it thinner. Anyone else had a similar problem and any suggestions?

Also, the red dot is not a perfect circle for my vision which really sucks. Could the RMR be defective or I just have astigmatism?

    Please help.

Did you try it without the plate on an off chance the plate is slightly off?

Is it my imagination because it seems like you are cursed? Everything you've done or bought has some sort of issue.

Can't you just drill the hole slightly bigger on the plate or just give it a light tap with a hammer?

Yes, RMR won't go in just like the plate. Plate is perfectly aligned with the RMR, both Trijicon brands. Seller/previous owner here wants me to bring it in a LGS but I honestly think they won't be able to do anything but force it and ruin something. He told me that he bought the slide new but never used it because didn't end up purchasing a Glock.

Thanks for your quick reply btw. So besides grinding off the posts a little bit, any other suggestions? I don't plan to do it myself for sure lol.

So you're saying that the holes that were drilled on the slide does not fit the RMR? Maybe that's why the seller sold it. Primary Weapons Systems is a good company so you should contact them to see what they can do for you.

take a larger drill in hand and "champer both sides of the holes may give enough to get on flat?

              lol, I suck.

It's not just the plate, even the RMR.

The slide has raised posts built in to go through the RMR and plate.

It looks like the holes in be slide are not drilled correctly or the milling is off.

I really don't want to do that to a brand new RMR.

I'm thinking of having the posts shaved down a bit in diameter.

Are you sure it's the RMR cut? Mine looks different.

I would personally contact the people that make the slide and ask them...
I would not shave the posts down just yet. Take measurements first and contact the slide maker.

And what do you mean the dot is not a perfect circle? Can you take a picture of the dot?
Make sure there is no lint on the light source itself.

Here are some measurements. Please note that the trijicon plate is aligned perfectly with the RMR thus using the plate as a reference.

I plan to send it to Jagerwerks to have it remedied while being cerakoted. I think if they can shave down a posts a fraction of a mm, the slide will be able to accommodate the RMR.

Your measurements seem like it should fit. Use the other lips of the caliper to measure the distance between the outer edges of the holes in the plate btw.
