I have read the manual many times, it only referrs to using a clp. I have found lots of useful information on this site hence the reason for this thread.

Side note, I've never been asked to perform a safe handling demonstration. Most commonly, the employee would just ask me "You know how to operate this right?" And I'd say "Yeah", and that was that. I think I'm exempt from it now with my CCW, but I bought at least 4 handguns before that.

Before I was exempt from the safe handling demo, I too had been given the free pass. I'm certain this happens commonly for customers they recognize as frequent shoppers or those who appear to have gun handling skills already. Don't think that makes it right, but employees often try to cut corners

So being that it is polymer is there any cleaning solutions to avoid? How about some tips??

- Cleaning solution to avoid : Never seen one.
- How about some tips: do NOT buy the gun cleaning solvent that the label print "DO NOT USE ON POLIMER" . (if you ever found one, let us know )

She forgot to oil the inside flat area inside the slide

and she also forgot to add a drop of oil to the trigger connector
