Right about everything except the value when fixed. Unless you place a value of zero on the fruits of your labor. That alone is what makes it worth buying these. If I lived in San Diego and could buy that rusty old revolver for $30 plus ffl fees, I’d do it in a heartbeat. It would take me 2 days to de-rust that thing, and 8 months of work at 2 hours a day at 2 days a month to get it pretty and firing again, and those days in the shop would be nothing but bliss. $113 barely buys a decent couple hours a day spa for my wife. $465 for bliss over 8 months on a 16x 2 hour installment plan, AND I end up with a working gun?

I could offer it back to Brokeguy for $30+$465+$39 (value for my time doest mean i charge for it), or make it MY family heirloom. Either way is win.

The revolver looks like an H&R Young America.

Some are antiques, a lot are not. If it's an antique, that substantially increases value in CA.
Should be repairable if it's not too far gone.

The auto looks like a plated zinc junker, but I could be wrong. Trawl ebay/gunbroker for parts if you want to fix it.

In San Diego. Not really family heirlooms, they had alot of stuff like this that we got rid of a long time ago, these are just what I had left sitting in a box.
Best one my grandfather has of a heirloom is his dad's SW 357 he carried as a SDPD motorcycle officer. Best story so far from that thing is back then they got to use them (and he did) to shoot the engines on cars of people running away.
But yeah if anyone wants one from 30 bucks ea to just have a little project or paper/desk topper I'm in San Diego, I'll post them in classifieds later and see what happens. If not I'll check out the next buy back program.
