So far it's been pretty interesting, especially the number of large caliber revolvers

This was my first thought too. Don't know how enjoyable a 500SW would be to shoot semi-regularly. I myself have wanted to get one, but aside from bears or something, not sure what it would do that my .44mag doesn't already do.

357 revolver for plinking. Probably my SW 627
44 mag revolver for turning heads. SW 29
G34 (current USPSA) or shadow 2 (ideal USPSA) for competition

Why is the .40 to snappy for the Glock? Or the Glock owner.

3. compact 1911 in .45 acp

Sherbet's healthier and better on a really hot day. Ice cream is tastier but sherbet can be more refreshing.
