What is it? The Ransom Rest is a device designed to hold a handgun steadily enough to fire it at a target, with assurance that the gun is not moving between shots. As I am learning, the Ransom Rest is a tool, and like any tool there is a proper way to use it. There are six major adjustments...

Ransom Rest test for Glock 35 is performed here, but bit disappointing result.

OP they are all much the same, I shoot g34 the most, but g17 shoots just as well (with same connector), and if g19 or g26 are worse - it is barely measurable - mine all have the -1 connector.

Ransom rest requires finesse as well.
Especially with a polymer gun I think.

That is why I am very interested in going out and testing mine. I now have a remotendency trigger actuator so there is one less thing to worry about.

I think Glocks are capable of much tighter groups than the one shown above. The Ransom Rest operator could have contributed to large grouping.

                    you need concrete bench!
OakTree, Burro, APTS wood bench will not work for Ransom Rest...

Yes, that is why I said Angeles.
                      Shouldn't have said probably.

I think since Glocks are mass produced, their tolerances are not the same from gun to gun. Barrel to Slide and Slide to Frame fitment is important. That is why some can probably shoot tighter groups but I think most will be similar to what we see in that test. I believe ammo will make even a greater difference.

When you start shooting any Glock model your accuracy will increase by 2000%

You're disappointed with these results? That's pretty good grouping at 25 yards, lol... Specially with some ****ty mass produced white box target ammo. You guys are out of touch with reality if you think your pistol needs to make tighter groups than this. Use some reloads or quality ammo and see how much the groups shrink.

Edit: The reason I ask is: The Glock website specified G34 &17L are competition pistols ..... and the G-34 is $100 more than G17/19.
I wonder what the $100 will buy for me: (1) The accuracy or (2) A cool long barrel looking.

Nothing like finding out yourself by renting the 19,17 & 34.

I actually shoot a glock 26 better than my 17.

Have some fun go rent some guns and find out.

                                grouping = shooter & gun & ammo

                                fact: grock.pro Ransom Rest test,
                                2.5/25 = Rest & G35 & Winchester grouping

                                hypothesis (1) all 3 responsive
                                2.5/25 = 0.83/25 rest + 0.83/25 G35 + 0.83/25 Winchester

hypothesis (2) grock.pro is Ransom Rest newbie. G35 is 1MOA gun.
                                2.5/25 = 1.5/25 rest + 0.25/25 G35 + 0.75/25 Winchester

hypothesis (3) G35 is not great
                                2.5/25 = 0.25/25 rest + 1.75/25 G35 + 0.5/25 winchester

                                hypothesis (4) Ammo rules
                                2.5/25 = 0.5/25 rest + 0.5/25 G35 + 1.5/25 winchester

                                I bet (3)
