YouTube sight installation for the Glock and do it yourself...it's easy...and rewarding

For the shield...I'd recommend having a ship do it. Rear sights are difficult from what I've read on M&P forum.

Two issues on the Shield.

1 - The sights MUST be pushed out left-to-right (viewed from firing position)
Running them out the other way can damage the dovetail.
2 - S&W uses Red Loctite like it's going out of style. You need to heat the rear sight setscrew with a soldering iron or it will likely strip out the allen.

Glocks you can do with a vice and a plastic punch. M&P I find require a site pusher.

I had riflegear install some on my p80 recently since I left my sight tool in AZ. They did it within 15 mins and was done faster then I could grab a bite to eat across the street.

I've used one of these on 2 Glocks an EMP-9 and a Shield. Lots of people say it's garbage but I've used it for a couple years flawlessly. Takes more time to set up than the fancy $$$ ones but easy with pacients.
