Glock Owners-Complete slide purchase options?

I know there are companies that offers all this but requires your original slide to be sent in cutting and mill work. I'd prefer to keep the slide in it's original condition and seek a purchase option that meets quality standards, guarantees their product as well as offers the following for G19 gen 3 and 4.

RMR option
Sight purchase option
Sight installation option

Any recommendations and/or experiences? Pictures of your own purchases?

Zev makes some nice slides.

I've had nothing but good customer support from them as well. I have a zev slide, barrel, full trigger, springs, guide rod and magwell from them on my g34. Couldn't be happier with their products.

Does ZEV offer a slide purchase option or do they require you to send in your slide for the work?

I own a Glock 20 long slide from Lone wolf . They do a Weird angle cut at the Guide rod hole that absolutely kills it looks wise . But function is Excellent. Everything is just a click and adds money to purchase on heir website site .

I know Suarez international offers several options.

If you want cheap, check Ebay. 80percentGlock shop has a ton of slides for sale there.

If you want affordable and already cut with a warranty- Brownells has a few for $220-$230.

Lone wolf is a decent middle of the road option, definitely more expensive than Brownells or others, but still custom and will do the sight work you specified.

Anything else: Suarez, Zev, Agency. In that order, ascending in cost. Custom gun works, they sell cut slides bare and complete, with optional extras and sight installations, kitchen sink- whatever it takes.

You can complete a bare slide yourself, but you will need a ~$80-$100 parts kit and will need some better than average gunsmithing know-how to tune it for function.

But like others have said, ZEV, lone wolf and Glockstore are options.

Lone Wolf is hit or miss. You will never know what you will get until you get it. You might get something with excellent accuracy/precision, something that is average, or something that is a complete POS. LW claims lifetime warranty, but that is meaningless. They will not replace anything. I returned a barrel and all they did was bend it. It still doesn't shoot right. I bought 2 slides from them: G20 10mm and G21 45ACP. The G20 was good. The 45 was garbage. I sent it back and they said everything was in spec. Lone Wolf specs mean nothing because the slide wouldn't work with stock Glock parts. They wanted me to buy their LW brand parts and pay them to install it. The dovetails and front sight slots on both slides were too tight. I had to sand and file to get steel and aluminum sights to fit. Plastic sights can just be beat into submission.

I went through the same thought process. I found a PPT Gen 4 MOS instead. After you factor in the cost of your Gen 3, a a new slide, RMR mill work, and a longer barrel the cost is pretty close and you don’t have a Frankengun. If you ever have to sell, The factory MOS will retain more of its value in CA.

Zev sells a full slide minus internals you don't need to mill your original. However they are pretty pricey ~$500. Brownells sells one thats rmr milled for about 250.

Zev stuff looks pretty. I would go the Suarez route if I ever want to do a Glock with an RMR on it.

Not sure what route y all are looking for, but, you can find complete factory Glock uppers on Gunbroker. Gen3, Gen4, Gen 4 mos. just a waiting game if there isn't one you want on there when you look.
