Owned one before. But sold it when I landed a MAP1 (steel version of the MAPP1) via PPT. Basically a more economical version of the SP01 in a Tanfoglio frame. Nothing stellar about it, but nothing to complain about. Nice to have if you are into CZ's and Tanfoglios and their variants. Hope this helps.

I have a mapp1fs, it shoots excellent. Everything is tight a clean.
Only downside is the front sight is part of the slide. That didn't stop me from getting it.
Also uses full-size cz 75b mags
Price should be around 400-500. I think MSRP is around 479 dollars.

I was looking for one forever, then I found a cz 75 pre b for $410 plus taxes and fees so I jumped on it. But if only I wanted a little longer I would have bought the mapp

          I had a MAP1 until I sold it to Trigger945. [emoji41]

I enjoyed it but I'm on a tight gun budget and really couldn't keep two CZ clones. You see I also have a SAR B6P that is/was a licensed copy of the Tanfoglio designed CZ clones. Tanfoglio builds all the parts for the Armscor MAP/MAPP line of guns.

I can't speak for the Armscor MAPP1; I can speak for the Tanfoglio design. If you know about the CZ you know that they took an already good gun design and made it even better.

Well that is exactly what Tanfoglio did with their gun. They took the CZ design and made it even better. So why did I keep a copy of the Tanfoglio and not a gun made by Tanfoglio?

I found the SAR B6P to have a better trigger and over all feel to it. I'm not sure if it's because the SAR is a poly gun or if the Turks did something to make it just a little bit better than the Tanfoglio. In any case I would highly recommend any gun designed or built by Tanfoglio.

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

^^^ True 😃 and good gun I picked up from morrcarr67

Wanted to add: There is a .22LR conversion kit for the MAPP1/MAP1 FS and it's a lot cheaper than the CZ counterpart (kadet kit). It is nice and makes for a fun and economical range day
