When I was high...wait...
When I decided the 1911 was the greatest gun on the planet I bought 3 Wilsons, 5 Nighthawks, and a Springer Custom. Two were commander size. The Nighthawk Talon II was disappointing. The Wilson Elite Professional, however, was fantastic. Still, I think the Nighthawk had a better build quality than the Wilson. Maybe I just got the worst of the Talon II's and the best of the Wilson Elite Pro's?
The Elite Pro has the cone barrel and shoots smoooooth like a full size barrel. The Nighthawk Predator in commander size has the cone barrel too. Highly recommended, although I think some shooting clubs do not allow it? (not sure).
The CZ Dan Wesson's have a great reputation but I've never shot one.
