She was shot at four times. Two hits were CCI Blazer 148 grain wadcutters. The fatal wound was to her abdomen. That was earlier this year in FL.

I know at least 187 shootings or so. It is not what you see in a movie and results are not in Jell-O its at the morgue.

...and Brandon Lee was killed by a squib load. So what? I know that any bullet can kill. The question remains, are they more efficient than modern JHP bullets?

I'm going to answer this post with my previous post. The article I linked includes thousands of shootings and the ammo used in each, along with percentages of one shot stops. It has nothing to do with "movies or jell o".

Updated article with data from thousands of actual shootings resulting in a
one shot "stop". Pay attention to the results of non expanding ammunition in particular. FMJ, SWC and WC bullets. Then compare to proven LE duty ammo. Don't take my word for it.

The companies that make 148 Hollow Base Wadcutters, along with a half dozen 1970s and 1980s reloading manuals, state not to run these bullets more that 750 feet per second because the air resistance above that velocity has a tendency to destroy the bullets thin skirt in flight.

JHP is the best choice but should an arthritic senior be armed with a 125 JHP 357 Magnum? You might be at your athletic peak but what grandma?

The worst advice I witness was when another cop told a senior couple to get a S&W 659 and neither could rack it. The man had a S&W 1917 revolver he brought home from WWII. When a senior's handgun only leaves the sock drawer for that 'bump in the night'. You really do not need a Taran Tactical Glock 34.
