Glock upgrade info wanted, Please!! trigger and stipple info mostly

So I finally got a hold of a P10c and it quickly became my favorite gun, Ever....

I realized the short trigger and tactile reset is really the part I love, secondarily the way the gun fits in my hand. it's basically a G19 with ergos and a great trigger. Since there is no full size P10, at least not yet, it prompted me to finally want to purchase a glock and put some money into it.

My goal is to get a G17 and shave the grip so it fits my hand, stipple it and upgrade the trigger... this should essentially get me to the closest thing I could get to a full size P10.

I know it is a long shot but I am hoping to get a nice comfortable grip with a short reset and overtravel....I have always owned M&P's because they felt better but the trigger even with a Flat Apex is not quite near my P10c...

My Goal is to have a gun for pistol classes and to be able to throw in the dirt and always fire. I have my 1911's, M&P's and Cz's but I need a full size all around gun to round out my collection.

Anyone with ideas on how to get this accomplished please speak up. I am very new to the world of Glock so Please give any info you have and try not to be too much of a dick, glock fanbois range from purist "Stock Glock" only to wildly customized $4k guys and a lot in between.

    So my question is:

Grip reduction and Stipple: who does the best grip shaving and stippling? I'm in SD so Glockstore is local and so is Gunfighter tactical. Both will do a grip reduction but the shave & stipple comes to $200 and is just ok. Anyone know of a better option? I'm really trying to avoid having a gun that looks like a 3rd grader got a hold of a glue gun. I have seen the Laser stipple online and it's only $85 ... anyone have any experience with this?

Trigger: Hyve or Apex is what I've got it down to through research online. I have only shot a Pyramid trigger and a stock glock trigger, pyramid was good but it is really expensive and gets horrible reviews. I'm trying to get around 3-4# with short reset and uptake, nice flat shoe. Anyone have any other recommendations?

Thanks for the info in advance .....

I wouldn't do any of that stuff. Just do a Google image search and look at stippling.

Skip the glockstore- that place is a lot of hype for average work, and the owner is cuckoo for coconuts crazy.

Gunfighter Tactical is a great store, Lee and Ryan are worth supporting and have earned my business. I have never, and I mean Never, had any complaints about spending time or money there. I have seen some of the custom Glocks come out of there, and they are beautiful.

Poway Weapons and gear also do good basic stipple work for ~$100 if you are on a budget.

As for the trigger- The hyve is good, the apex is better. Ghost makes a disconnecter that is as good, for less. Zev is the way to go if you can afford it. Skip the Pyramid triggers- nothing but trouble.

Zev does okay stipple for $175 IIRC, Taran tactical if you're looking for a more premium work but they go for $260. Taran does have a BBFriday sale for us commoners.

For stippling "STIPPGRIPS" or Taran Tactical Innovation
Trigger "Zev" fulcrum. Just my opinion

Ya I've done that, haha that's what worries me the most. The average stipple is really bad, and even the good ones are still bad. I've seen a few good looking stipple jobs but they run $400 ..... At that point I'll just buy another gun. I was hoping the laser stipple would be more finished looking. I just really want the block from gone and to have a grip that somewhat for my hands. I guess I could do the group reduction and put a talon grip on it....

I put a McNally trigger on my G19. Big improvement, but anything would be an improvement over the mushy, creepy, and stiff stock Glock trigger https://mcnallystriggers.com/learning-center/
                Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Stippgrips looks great but the only site I can find for him is Instagram and it says not accepting orders....

Tti is supposed to be super expensive but I haven't actually looked at their pricing sheet. I'll have to do that now. Every tti gun I've seen had been tier 1 or 2 and goes for thousands so I just assumed they were out of my price range. I shouldn't every assume I guess.

Hmm decisions decisions. I was hoping to find a local store that wouldn't charge me $300+ .... Guess not.

I better start saving now haha

Check out tacticaltriggers.com. I went with the tti grandmaster spring kit.

If you really want a nice grip on your gun, just check out the factory Glock rough-textured frame. It puts an end to any of those other problems. And it's from the factory.

If you're set on Glock you should check out Lone Wolf's Timberwolf Frames. They improve the Glock ergos for a lot of shooters. However, I'd recommend you try a Walther PPQ out first. There's a reason so many people fall in love with that gun. GL!

I've felt the rtf2 and it's really nice. Gen 4 is more my style but the problem is I'm trying to find a gun (Glock) that fits my hand and the only way that's possible is to shave it. The Glock grip just isn't round where I need it and it feels uncomfortable. After the grip reduction I should just buy a gen 3 and save the money from the rtf2 or gen 4.

Ppq, vp9 are great guns but I'm looking for a full sized gun to run classes with. Otherwise I would just use my P10c.... Am I wrong in thinking that a 4" compact gun is too small for a pistol class? I was under the impression that I should be using a full sized 4.5"-5" frame.
