    Springfield Professional

I took some pictures after cleaning my Springfield Professional. After my last range trip with it, the round count on it is over 25,000 now. This is my best shooter and comes with me to the range every time I go. If you ever have the chance to pick up a Pro, especially one with a Nowlin barrel, you should jump on it!

at 30 cents per round that is $7,500 in ammo that went through that barrel. This is why i shoot 9mm more than I do 45's.

Very nice looking gun with that much mileage, you can tell it is well cared for.

For 25k rounds down range, your Pro looks damn near new. Beautiful!

I picked up a Pro earlier this year, the serial # isn't in the 4K range and it doesn't have a Nowlin barrel, but it's surprisingly how crazy accurate it is. For as tightly fit as it is, I've had zero failures. Well worth the $$ IMO.

With 25K round through it, has the slide lightened up when racking it? They are insanely tough to rack when they are new.

                    That's a beauty for sure!

I know, but if you think about it as 100rds a week it doesn't seem as bad.

The slide is still insanely tight.

Thank you! I've never handled a NM barrel Pro but I'm sure the quality is just as good.

Wow, that finish holds up really well. My sweat eats through all my guns' finishes.

That's like saying you drive a Prius instead of an F-150 just to save money on gas. Some things are just plain worth the added expense.

                              Nice gun, OP!
