    Canik TP9SF WOWZA...sorta...

So I just PPT'd this bad boy and i've got to say (controversy to ensue i'm sure) that this trigger is unbelievable. the amount of money that i've spent for my M&P and XDM to upgrade the triggers and it still doesn't even come close to the stock trigger on a Canik just makes me think..what are these other companies doing wrong? are they in cahoots with apex and PRP just to make money to give you a trigger that STILL won't even compare.

Now I say sorta because i still haven't shot this thing but just based on the trigger alone I have no doubt that I can put rounds where I point this thing.

Basically you're getting the crispest smoothest, shortest reset trigger out of the box without any upgrades and if you're in a free state it will cost you 350.00 for this thing. Compared to the walther PPQ trigger I personally like it better, and to the VP9...the same thing. I can't wait to actually put rounds through this thing and I understand its a bold statement to go out there and say its a better than all those firearms mentioned but man...if you get a chance to pull the trigger on one of these things you'll be in for a out of the box, stock surprise.

Interesting, I've never shot one. I've heard of them but yet to actually hold one. Triggers are one of those thing like grips, one man's treasure is another man's trash.... For the most part.

It's a Glock clone so the trigger will be indicative of a Glock, m&p after the sigma incident stayed far away from the Glock trigger infringement....

Thanks for the report, I'll have to check one out if I get the chance.

yeah...after all the money spent on glock triggers from Zev its still the same outcome for me. this is way better. You're right...to each his own but this is a stock trigger in this thing so I don't know how an aftermarket company can improve on it.

The TP9SF. It's a cerakoted slide over phosphate finish and we will see how it holds up but the fit and finish on a 350.00 gun can't be beat. I plan on putting 500-700 rounds the day I take it for its dance and hopefully I'll have a good first impression report the with some video

The Canik TP9 SA also has an outstanding trigger out of the box. The value that you get with the Canik is unbeatable...with great performance to boot.

But... but there were experts here saying Turkish guns are junk.

My TP9 shot low and I had to change the front sight with the lowest front sight post that came with the gun. OP, there should be a small plastic bag with several front sight posts in the box. If your gun shoots low like mine did, change it to the lowest one. There is a small setscrew that holds the front sight post in the slide, and a small allen wrench should be in the plastic bag with the posts.

Agreed. And I own a VP9 and have shot the TP9.

How do you like the decocker on the SA?

I have an SA. The decocker is fine and has never been accidentally engaged with my use. The trigger on the SA is a little lighter than the SF. Little big for carry but with all the stuff you get it's an amazing value.

                          No ik can't.

Just joking, I hope it shoots as good as the trigger is.

At that price it sounds a good deal if it does.

Interesting. I heard someone drove for a few miles with the TP9 strapped to the back and it didn't decock. Guess you drove that extra mile. Haha

                              SF Elite.

I'll get that next or a VP9. Hard not to get a VP9 right now because of the rebates.
