    Did I go too far?

My first 1911 is a SA loaded Black Stainless. I bought it from another Calgunner. It came stock but he did through in a set of Punisher grips. Shortly after I got it I changed replaced the MSH with a standard with magwell. I put in a STI nylon trigger, C&S trigger pull set, ED Brown stainless slide stop & thumb safety and fiber optic front sight. Well I just added a different barrel bushing to it and I'm would like my fellow Calgunners opinion. To much, just right or I got more to go.
    PLEASE READ POST #38 ALSO

A couple of mods after I first got it.

A couple of more mods and the Punished Compensator.

Not my cup of tea as well.

Have you shot it before the bushing replacement and after?

I'd junk the grips and muzzle break. Other than that, it would depend on how well the aftermarket parts work.

Yes a lot before and first time today. It wasn't a huge difference but I was able to acquire the target a little faster. I don't shoot it as much as I used to because of my SA loaded target 9mm and a few other 9mm's I have.

Did you shoot it with the factory trigger? I have a springer loaded. It's an amazing gun and the trigger is awesome, and considering 1911's have great triggers period.

Reason I say this is that tinkering with 1911 triggers is something that should be left to people familiar working with triggers on 1911's. As much as I love 1911's, there are precious few drop in parts. Everything needs to be fitted by someone who knows what they're doing. The MSH is probably one of the few drop in parts that's ok to do. I like flat MSH's. And I like thin grip panels. The other drop in part that's ok to change.

Not a fan of comps though. But not my gun.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

                        I love the equinox/eclipse look.
Not a fan of the grips, personally I would find a dark wood for the grips.
But as others have said, its not my gun
I think the comp is cool.
