I've used HKS and Safariland. Prefer the Safariland. As far as speed strips are concerned, while I wouldn't take them in place of speedloaders, I'd carry them to supplement speedloaders. It gives you the ability to replenish rounds you've shot but haven't completely emptied the gun.

Another issue with the HKS'
When you turn the Loader Release Knob this action tends to turn the cylinder too. Sure it's a matter of technique & training, but this isn't an issue with Safari.
I own and use both brands of speed loader so you can turn the flames down.Comment
