I personally think it would look better if the slide wasn't TiN coated. Gold colored accents are ok. Color is very subjective. Some people don't like OD Green, FDE or any two tone while others love it. Kind of like some love Glocks while others don't.

I like two-tone styling.

My favorite combo is black and silver.

Color is indeed subjective.

I do not like OD green or FDE on a pistol.

Just yesterday I saw Ruger's copper mica stock on their blued RAR .22 rifle and a RAR .270.

I think it would look good on a stainless RAR.

Although polished stainless is flashier (more reflective) than the gold finish on the OP's pistol I still like it more than the gold.

Perhaps I don't like the look of gold firearms because they evoke rococo styling that is too ostentatious for me.

Definitely NOT my taste. I tend to subscribe to the notion that less is more. But the only thing that matters is whether YOU like it. Life is short man. Far too short to care about what other people think.
