I disagree. Why take extra effort in being proficient in something you likely won't use?

I know I've bad-mouthed Glacks, with their effed-up grip angle and "plastic" polymer lowers, but it seems like now I should have a G17 to go along with my Sub2K. Someone talk me out of it before I go full retard and get one. I actually don't need another pistol, but should I add a Glack to my collection just for the heck of it? It would be sorta cool to have a carbine and a pistol that take the same mags.

no that's not crazy at all....It could actually be a good way to consolidate and reduce complexity of your maintenance....I would have done the same if I am in your situation

Well, your username defines a Glock owner. When you shoot your Glock do you hold the pistol horizontally and push the pistol forward when you pull the trigger to give a bit of extra velocity to the fired round? I think you are mostly being facetious with your posts.

Big, I am glad you are here to poke fun at some of the posters on CalGuns. I am not in nor from CA and I just roll eyes at some of the posts.

Calguns is almost like a FB clone in the firearms world.

Big, keep on keepin' on. And I am not entertaining getting rid of my "inferior" 1911 .45 ACP.
