So now that I have a Kel-Tec Sub2K in 9mm which takes Glock 17 mags, and now that I have 5 of those mags, I'm thinking maybe I should get a G17. I know I've bad-mouthed Glacks, with their effed-up grip angle and "plastic" polymer lowers, but it seems like now I should have a G17 to go along with my Sub2K. Someone talk me out of it before I go full retard and get one. I actually don't need another pistol, but should I add a Glack to my collection just for the heck of it? It would be sorta cool to have a carbine and a pistol that take the same mags.

For me, most Glocks are not going to blow your socks off, but they'll be extremely reliable, hit what you aim them at, and cost you a h#!! of a lot less than other similarly shooting pistols. I was/am not a Glock fan and somehow I wound up with 6 or 7 of them...at $400-$450 I just couldn't let them pass by. Good luck OP......but I say grab one if you see it for a decent price

Watch someone take one apart and then put it back together. Not just a field strip. A complete disassembly/reassembly should convince you. Check out how easy it is to swap out the front sight.

Grip angle, staple gun trigger, plastic receiver, etc. Still and incredible design everyone should have at least one. Get a 19 or 17.

Yes there are other versions available, but the Sub2K in 9mm is so hard to find around here that I had to grab the first one I could find. I do like the Glock mags actually, so I'm happy with what I got in the Sub2K.

have you shot the sub2000? i couldnt get a good sight picture because the sights are way too low.

I haven't shot it yet, but yes the sights are low. I am able to get a good sight picture even with the sights being so low. If Hickock45 can shoot it well, then the sights are acceptable. Besides, all of the other cool innovative features outweigh the sights for me.

Some folks just can't get over the grip angle of a Glock making them unable to adapt and shoot proficiently with one. I have to admit it took me a while to ignore how ugly the pistol looks. Guns are just tools unless they have some collector's value or extreme beauty made of metal that sets them above plastic ware.
