How do they fit your hand?
I would pick the HK USP 45.
But, you could buy one for your wife, and one for you. And when she says "I don't like it". You can keep both. See win, win.
    Very interesting!!
    Uhh.ohh, wifes home gotta go....

          what they said.
Get both, shoot both, and see which one feels better and fits better and shoots better.
          Sell the other.
          You'll prob make a profit.

If this is a PPT for both I would probably go for the USP. Next to a 1911 it's the only 45 caliber I would ever buy. Just make sure it's a A code vs a K code the old ones don't have the polygonal rifling.

As for the FNP unless you are seriously considering one I say skip it if you want it just because it's rarer.

And with the H&K if you don't like it or don't want it anymore it will be a lot easier to sale down the road.

Buy both and then tell your wife she has first choice, either way you still Win (unless she want to anodize the frame pink...)

                    HK all the way

The HK USP 45 is a good deal. The FN is not. The HK will hold value far better then the FN. HK Mags are around $45. Three FN mags are standard in the package.
