Glock self defense ammo issues

Like mentioned previously the 9mm3 followers cause feed issues on the 4th to 6th round, the solution I have found that works is G17 ten round mag springs in the G19 ten round mags using the 2183 follower. I have been tracking four mags I have set up like this and through 1200-1300 rounds of Federal HST 124gr I have had no malfunctions. The problem is the feed angle in the ten round mags and using the G17 mag spring it more closely matches the feed angle of the G19 fifteen round magazines.

The group voice of reason says it's the magazine follower...under these bizarre 10 round calif modification circumstances I'd have to agree. But do not discard you current followers. And if you do I'll take'em off your hands.

British SAS Member, Andy McNabb, says loading all magazines 1 down has been SOP for decades. I've never experienced this myself with any US Military issued weapons, but heard enough about it to be on the look out for it.

To there credit, and I don't often give the IDPA organization credit, part of their standard qualification mandates shooting to magazine lock and if your gun fails to do so you get some kind of demerits.
