Are the CZ-75 B, BD, and SP-01 identical in terms of build quality, trigger, etc? Or is one higher quality in those areas?

I prefer the railless look, but if the SP-01 is a better gun I'll consider it.

For the most part, yes. CZ's are shooters so you're going to see imperfections. Most likely under the Slide/dust cover.

The BD (Decocker) is not as friendly to modify as the manual safety CZ's but you can still improve the trigger on the decocker versions.

Start with a 75b,, classic look and all around use,
Nex, sp01 or P01, gotta have one with rail,
Next the one you did nit get in last step or a Tac Sport for range only,
Next, a Rami or a 75 compact. These are cute as kittens.

            You get my drift.

                  I recommend the 75 Compact

The steel frame really makes for easy recoil and accuracy. If you want to shave a quarter pound then the Alloy framed PCR is a great choice. Both are accurate and easy to shoot for novices.

Op i think it is win - win. For target shooting the differences are unlikely to matter enough to worry about. If it is an option i would suggest shooting both models. Everyone is different, i am of the opinion that you really need to get them in your hands and find out what you personally prefer.

TS has much fatter grip and unique mags so it's not quite like others...

Good pont. TS's grip is a bit too big for medium sized hands (but doable),and way too big if you have small hands.

75BD here. Put TruGlo TFX sights and "grenade texture" grips on it. I LOVE THIS GUN!

I like the classic no rail look so I went with the CZ 75B SA. Installed a CGW Race Hammer and loving it.

If you like decockers. I prefer a straight manual safety like all my other 5 CZ's.
