    Mec-Gar vs CZ mags

I've been looking for CZ mags for my new SP01. They are sold out everywhere. I've checked at all the LGS near me and online. None in stock.
I came across Mec-Gar mags online for $17. Seems like a great price. So I ordered two. I hope I didn't make a mistake. They arrived today and they look good. I won't be able to try them until the end of the week.

The Mec-Gar mags work great with the SP01, the only thing is the magazine base does not match up with the mag well.

I use the Mec-Gar in my P-01. No function problems at all.

mec-gar is the magazine maker for some OEM brands.

i try to buy mec-gar when i can actually. usually 2/3 the price of OEM but works just as well.

I have both CZ and met-gar mags, never had an issue with either.

My CZ75s all function great with Mec-Gar and the fit and finish on the Meg-Cars is first rate.

Work great, if you want you can get the OEM base plates separately so they match up.

90% of USPSA Production shooters use the MacGar mag. I own 17 of them both in 10 and 17 round. They are every bit as good as the CZ labeled MacGar mags. Everyone makes basepads for them too, that's how popular they are.
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.

I prefer my Mec-gar over my CZ mags. Never had a failure. I don't care for the huge plastic base plate on the factory mags. I keep thinking they are going to break if I drop over a hard surface.

Use MecGar in my competition SP01 and I have never had a magazine related malfunction.

Not my CZ mags, but mine are old. Mine are much better made than Mec-gars.
