'Robarized' Dan Wesson PM7

I sent my PM7 to Robar to have the sights changed and have the reliability package done but ended up having some other stuff done.

Work done:
Front strap checkering
WC ambi thumb safety installed
Harrison Design rear sight installed (also needed to install taller front sights)
Reliability package (throat barrel, polish feed ramp, tune extractor, polish breech face, lower ejection port & test fire)
NP3 Plus refinishing internals and externals

Estimated lead time was 3 months but they sent it back after 2 months.

looks awesome. i love the np3 finish, so easy to clean and incredibly durable. I didn't realize they also did custom gunsmithing. congratulations

Interesting that you Np3'd a stainless gun. But it came out really nice! Do you notice a difference in how it handles? And you Np3'd the internals too, yes?

Thanks guys! It started after a couple of San Diego "gunsmiths" messed up the install of the harrison sight. One of them put some scratches on the slide. I kept having issues with the front an rear sights coming off. After talking to local law enforcement, they recommended Robar.

Mtenenhaus, it's soo easy to clean. Robar does a lot of refinishing but they also do custom builds.

L84CABO, I thought it would be harder to rack the slide but it feels pretty normal. The trigger is a little smoother. I had the internals and externals NP3'd. I've only put 50 rounds after I got it back, its pretty accurate, so far so good.

Man! What kind of incompetent smith couldn't buff out a scratch on a Stainless slide?! You should out those companies!

OP! Awesome looking weapon! Out the San Diego smiths so we can avoid them- would hate to have these smiths ruin our weapons. Thanks in advance OP! If you do not out them publicly please PM me...just hate ruined weapons from supposed experts. Thanks again for sharing.
