    1911 or glock

    I can't, I wont believe it.

A hard core 1911 user changing to glock because it's less maintenance, better support, cheaper ammo, and more adaptable/versatile.
It's too much, I don't know what to say... wtf

friends don't let friends shoot glocks.

There's a lot to be said for simplicity and not having to clean a gun after using it.

I went the other direction, no more Glocks for me. To each his own, they are both great platforms.

Its a manual of arms thing. Plus the Glock is a far better platform for an RMR for use with NVG's, 9mm is way cheaper, stupid simple maintenance, and im kind of over the 1911 platform. Ive owned 2 wilsons: bucket list complete. Now back to Glock haha.

I've heard that a few times but 1911's are really simple and easy to maintain, plus I've never seen anyone shoot a glock as well or fast as a 1911.

Dont get me wrong, i like 1911's. They just arent anything more than a bunch of steel parts to me. Yeah its a wilson, so? We're talking a $3000 pistol, not a $200,000 Porsche.

I sold my pair of SA Professionals and Baer TRS and kept my 9mm Glocks to fill my primary defense pistol niche. I got some .357 DA revolvers instead for old school "steel and wood" and shooting something with a bit more thump. I'm much much happier.

I like both. I just don't look at it as either or... if you are pressed for money, I understand. If not, I would just buy a Glock in addition to your 1911s. Tastes change. Right now you are over 1911s, later you may want to come back...

Also, I am not looking at it as a "OMG, but it is a Wilson!!!" Just a nice 1911 that should be reliable because it is Wilson.

But hey to each their own. Your gun, do as you wish, obviously.

Are you trading a spray painted Porsche for a Honda Civic also?

Cheaper ammo?? How does glock do it?

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Eh, ive sold alot of guns. Im not pressed for money. If anything id use the extra cash to fund 2/3 of a second PVS14 and have the 17 sent off for an RMR at ATEi
