Not sure about the 75B, but I held the SP01 and the P01 side by side. I decided that the weight/size was not worth the recoil reduction for me and went with the P01.

I think the 75B only comes with a safety? I personally prefer a decocker, I hate the idea of fumbling around with a safety in a situation where I'd have to defend myself. YMMV.

never intended to use any of my CZ's for self defense so the light rail doesn't matter. P-01 is a great gun and I have one but don't shoot it as much as any of my full size CZ's.

While I like and own several full size CZs, I can't stand their compacts and sub-compacts. Had one sold it quick, so 75b for me.

I'd say you did better with the p01.
It was the very last gun I rented before I purchased. Still my favorite and smoothest to shoot. No regrets. Plus you can always get a full size. Again personally I'd rather get an Sao over regular 75b. But that's me

Buy both and start a CZ family. Then you would be eligible for the CZ family barbecues.

Thank you. Excited to shoot it but I would already have to agree. It is a lot of fun for the money. Best DA/SA triggers I've felt and it's not even cajunized.

The 75BD is the decocker version. All steel. I own two of them and really like them.

I like all steel. I think that both the 75 and the P01 are too small to carry so for me it is a no brainer -- the 75. Love the way it handles recoil. Have to say that the 01 is a cool pistol as well, so there can be no bad choice here.
