Installed my first 1911 trigger

Nice. Always wanted a flat face but dont have the balls to mess with my gun. Im a novice gunplumber, not a gunsmith. If it cant be done with a pocketknife or a hammer, generally i dont mess with it, lol

Take a solid shoe and reduce it to a flat face.
I have done at least 10 in this fashion. Very easy to create your own flat face
