    Smith & Wesson 637

Currently have a Taurus M85 that I use for EDC. I am looking into selling it and replacing it with a SW 637. Those of you who have a Smith 637 how happy are you with it based on your personal experiences.???

Nice, light and well made with an excellent trigger.

+p loads make it no fun to practice with.

Nice and smooth for pocket carry.

    Can't go wrong with a S&W

Just out of curiosity have you considered the 642 instead. No hammer to snag on clothes and you can get the 642 without the internal lock. That said the 637 is a fine gun for the intended purpose.

Is it that you don't like DAO in general? Or just on that gun?

Reason I ask is that if you're open to a DAO you should look at the Ruger LCR. It probably has the best trigger of any 2" revolver on the market.

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

In general I prefer revolvers with the exposed hammer.

The LCR has an exposed hammer, the LCR-X does not.

              EDIT.

Reverse that LCR-X has an exposed hammer.
