What will you do when the local store goes out of business and you need ammo, etc? If the price is close, eat it and buy at your store.
then you would have been: 1) supporting your store and
2) definitely getting the CA legal version.

That works for me. I'm not so tight fisted that I won't spend a few extra bucks to support a local gun shop. I'm lucky to have them nearby.

I don't think California sucks at all. Every state has some bad/weird laws. To me the good far out weighs the bad, if it didn't I'd move. Life is too short to live somewhere you think sucks. To all who thinks it sucks here, move. Don't whine about jobs, family, school, whatever, just strap on some balls and move. If you don't, stop moaning about it. Frankly, I (and I would bet a LOT of others) are tired of hearing it. Either move or shut up, it's just that simple.
