Any of the tools and booklets get put in a bag in a drawer, and DROS gets filed in a folder. Think I'm getting rid of the cheesy cases and boxes
Maybe save 1 glock case for if you ever need to mail one somewhere for service, but there's no reason to keep a dozen of them around IMO
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

If you want to maximize that - throw the cases for sale on eBay or in the classifieds.. .I guarantee you they will sell. Maybe not for much but it's better than tossing them.

I usually keep all my boxes, but my wife threw some out. She did not understand how an old dusty box brings the overall pricing up on a collector.

I should throw away the boxes of her LV bags.

This. I even kept the box my M1A came in "just in case...". I find that if I ever do sell a firearm (not that often), the original box is often asked for. Also, many of my handguns came with small accessories (like my S&W model 15-4 which came with a sight adjust screwdriver) and the box/case is a good place to store these.

Value, in case I ever need to sell. People who keep all the stuff tend to maintain their firearms better.

              Yes, keep all.
When selling, people really like getting everything that came with the gun originally.
I also keep the window sticker from a new car and the sales brochure from the dealership and give it to the buyer of the car when I sell. People just love getting it.

I still have the cases/boxes for most of my pistols that came with cases/boxes. All my cardboard rifle boxes have been tossed in the trash.

I kept the pistol cases and boxes, but tossed the rifle boxes, except for few that I might sell later.

Rifle boxes take up too much room and leaves evidence for prying eyes.

I keep my handgun boxes and most of my rifle/shotgun boxes, too. Mainly just in case I sell them and for my heirs when I am gone as I keep the manuals and warranty cards in the boxes.

In 2016, I bought 53 handguns. So far in 2017, I've bought 25 handguns in the past two months. I've got so many cases, I had get a storage room.

I agree. But I never planned on getting divorced either.
