JHPs have the base covered so those are good. I usually stick to bullets with these kind of profile.



I also am lucky that my DEagle feeds these bullets from Remington charge with W296 or AA9

In the year and half I've had my DE .44, I have used American Eagle JHP 240 gr. and Magtech 240 gr. without any issues.

+ 26.5. I researched all the headaches that people experienced with factory ammo before getting my DE. I concluded that I would need to handload the ammo in order to get the gun to function. Plus the price of factory fodder is just too $$$! I love those XTP's too and got the 200 grainers. More space in the case for the POWDER, lol! Using 296 or H110 so far. OMG, even in daylight the fireball that comes out is just . . . Lost for words. Gun and that load is suprisingly accurate at 100 yrds against an IPSC sized steel. Fun!
